Confidentiality
Your Privacy is important to me. As a registered clinical psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) I strictly adhere to their ethical codes and confidentiality principles.
 
All interactions which take place in the setting of therapy are considered confidential. This includes requests by telephone, all interactions with me, any scheduling or appointment notes, all session content records and any progress notes that I take during your sessions. I will not even verify that you are a client. You may choose to give me permission in writing to release any or specific information about you to any person or agency that you designate.
 
Limits to this Agreement

I will not release any information about you (including whether you are a client of mine) to anyone without your consent. The exceptions to this are :

1.        If I am concerned for your safety or the safety of someone else.

2.        When subpoenaed by court, or

3.        When required by law (e.g. Mandatory Reporting for child protection, unlawful activity).

4.       There may be times when I consult with outside sources (colleagues) about  cases. In these  cases, no personally identifiable information will be used to discuss this case. Discussion topics will be used in order to ensure that I am getting and giving the best assistance possible. The persons with who I  discuss cases are legally bound to keep information confidential.
 
Should I be required to break confidentiality,  in all but the most extenuating circumstances I will make every effort to discuss this with you before hand.
As a clinical psychotherapist I  am required to keep personal information about you that enable me to perform my role effectively and safely. Your information will remain confidential, private and I will take all reasonable efforts to securely store it   in a manner that  protects it from misuse, loss and from unauthorized access, changes or disclosure.

Fees
Individual therapy session fee is $170 and Couples therapy sessions $200. from 2024.   This is representative of industry standards for psychotherapists and counsellors.

Cancellation Policy
​Cancellation / Rescheduling within 24hrs of your appointment time will incur full fee payment.  This is in line with industry standards regarding cancellation policies for psychotherapists and counsellors.
